The effect of health empowerment in health care and maintenance of children, cerebral palsy children with disabilities residing in selected centers in Tehran Welfare Organization
Background: Cerebral palsy is a complex and multi-dimensional group and a non-stationary disturbance in motion refers to the situation that requires careful attention to all activities of daily living by caregivers of children with cerebral palsy, is. Therefore, empowering caregivers to address in this context is very important. This study also examines the impact on empowerment of health care and health status of children with cerebral palsy living in selected child care centers in Tehran Welfare Organization 2012-2013 disabilities are discussed. Methods: In this quasi-experimental, before and after, maintained complex of 35 caregivers of children with cerebral palsy were selected through Narmak Welfare Organization, Tehran, Iran. Empowerment training program consists of 6 domains watch out for each of the three stages of 30-minute sessions a week during the work shift was careful, by the researcher and the presence of the caregiver and the child was in his care. Careers twice before training and after training and evaluation data were analyzed with the Wilcoxon test. Inclusion criteria for health care providers: - employed in the formal welfare; -being literate; -caring for cerebral palsy children under 14 years are charged. Exclusion criteria: Refusing to participate in training sessions for more than one session.
