Assessment of the effect of an intervention based on the theory of planned behavior on the health promoting behavior’s intention of rural women working in hand-made carpet sector in Ilam
This study will be done with am to investigate theeffect of an intervention based on the planned behavior model on the health promoting behavior’s intention of rural women working in hand-made carpet sector in Ilam.This is non-blinded clinical trial.The study population included carpet weaver women of childbearing age 20 to 45 years in Ilam provincevillages.A total of 60carpet weaver women will selectedby judgment and using the random numbers will assigned to experimental and control groups. At the beginning of the study,women health-promoting behaviorsquestionnaire will beprovided(Ebras) for both groups.
The experimental group for two hours during six consecutive sessions will betrained planned behavior on intention of health promoting behaviors based onresearcher made educational booklet in lecture method,group discussion and pamphlets and control group will receive routine training. At the end of the study,women health-promoting behaviorsquestionnaire will be provided for both groups and both groups in terms of health promoting behaviors are investigated and compared.
Inclusion criteria: Carpet weaver women of childbearing age 20 to 45-year-old;Having at least a fifth-grade education; Working in carpet weaving workshops in Ilam villages.
Exclusion criteria: lack of willingness to cooperate
