Effect of Intervention Program on Promoting Preventive Behaviors in Traffic Accident Injuries in Older Passengers of Sanandaj
Design
A clinical trial with a control group based on a community of elderly people who will be randomized into two intervention and control groups
Settings and conduct
This research is an interventional study to investigate the effect of safety education on the prevention of traffic accidents in the elderly pedestrians in Sanandaj and to change the behavior of behavior determinants related to traffic accidents based on the final model obtained from the phases Previous study will be used.
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria :
• Elderly physical and mental ability to participate in the study
• willing to cooperate in the study (complete written consent to participate in the study).
Exit criteria:
• Failure to complete the questionnaire by the elderly
Intervention groups
Interventions based on the planned program among the elderly group, which are more important than the previous phases of intervention, will be carried out in the following steps:
Pre-test will be done using a questionnaire based on interventional model of the elderly.
Implementation of Interventions Designed in the Target Group in Health Centers (Elderly Unit for Non-Communicable Diseases) in Sanandaj
