The effect of using smart mobile phones on improving technophobia, mental well-being, and successful aging in elderly women isolated due to Pandemic COVID-19.

Design

In order to select the samples, in the first stage, 80 elderly women will be selected from the statistical population, and in the second stage, 40 people will be assigned to each of the intervention and control groups. Before the intervention in the intervention group, pre-tests are taken from both groups. Then in the intervention group, virtual training is provided and two months after the last training session, a post-test is taken from both groups.

Settings and conduct

After taking the pre-test from both groups, the researcher in the form of a training group will invite the members of the intervention group to the WhatsApp group. In the first session, the participating members will be asked by referendum about the necessary training and needs of the members. Then, according to the indicators of technology phobia and prioritization of needs assessment of the group members, the educational topics will be prepared in the form of a 15-minute video and will be uploaded to the educational group two days a week, and one day a week to questions and solve members' problems. The group will allocate. After two months from the last training session, the post-test will be performed in the intervention and control groups. The place of this research is Farzanegan Foundation of Shiraz.

In the intervention group, he will receive virtual training to improve his work with mobile phones. But in the control group, no training or intervention is performed.
