Study aim
Determining the effect of serious game and feedback lecture on the knowledge and assessment skills of nursing students in the evaluation of burn patients
Design
This clinical trial study has two groups of parallel intervention and blinding, which will be performed on 54 people. Www.randomization.com will be used for randomization. For this purpose, the required sample size (54 people) will be given to the website, then the website will present two random sequences named A and B which contain 27 numbers. In the next step, each of the subjects will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups according to the number given to them.
Settings and conduct
This study will be held at the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences. In the serious game group, students will be intervened using a serious game. In the feedback lecture group, the content will be presented through feedback lecture training sessions with students. In addition, the analyzer will be blinded due to lack of information about the random allocation of people

Undergraduate students of nursing sciences
Intervention groups
In the serious game intervention group, students will learn the lessons through a serious web-based game. In the feedback lecture group, students will also receive content based on the feedback lecture protocol. For this purpose, the instructor will present the same contents of the intervention group during 2 90-minute sessions using the feedback lecture method

Description
Intervention group: Students must first register in this game and set a username and password to be able to enter the game. The student is free to enter the first stage of the game. At the beginning of the entry, explanations about the desired course title are given to him, then questions about the same subject are asked in the form of a short film or a picture of burn patients. Students should choose the appropriate option according to the time allotted for answering the questions. If he chooses the wrong answer, in addition to displaying the wrong choice message, he will be given a brief explanation of why the chosen answer was wrong, without mentioning the correct option. But if you choose the right option, in addition to encouraging the student, a brief explanation will be given to emphasize the correct option and confirm the student's learning, and a point will be considered for him. If 60% of the questions in each stage are answered correctly, the student can enter the next stage. Also, the student can compare his points with other students at any time in the points section and observe his rank in the group. After 2 weeks, students will be in the skill lab room to practice and learn practical burn assessment skills

Description
Intervention group: In the feedback lecture group, students will receive materials based on the feedback lecture protocol. For this purpose, the instructor will present the same content of the intervention group during 2 90-minute sessions using the feedback lecture method. This 90 minutes will be divided into 3 parts of 30 minutes (25 minutes of lecture and 5 minutes of discussion). After 2 weeks, students will be in the skill lab room to practice and learn practical burn assessment skills
