In this study, 60 patients with myocardial infarction, who wish to participate in the study, will be selected from among the patients with inclusion criteria by available sampling method and will be randomly assigned to two experimental and control groups; A total of 60 patients with myocardial infarction will be selected and randomly divided into two groups of 30 in each of the experimental and control groups.

The treatment will be performed in the cardiac counseling room and in the medical and educational environment of the hospital or in a private place and counseling centers with the consultation and coordination of the group therapy (researcher and cardiologist consultant).

Inclusion criteria include: diagnosis of myocardial infarction by a cardiologist, stable hemodynamic status of patients, no vision problems, maximum age 60 years, minimum literacy, ability to listen normally and informed consent to participate in treatment sessions Was. In addition to receiving routine medical care, patients in the experimental group will be treated with eye movement desensitization and reprocessing for one week to two weeks (according to the standard 8-step protocol), in addition to receiving standard one-hour medical care. Patients in the control group will receive only routine medical care during this period.
