Study aim

The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of 12 weeks of exercise in water on some hormonal, metabolic and morphological indicators of women with polycystic ovaries and hypothyroidism.

Design

The participants will be randomly divided into intervention and control groups. Blinding has been done for the patients and the radiologist and pathologist reporting the results.

Settings and conduct

30 people will be randomly divided into two intervention and control groups . they were blinded in terms of being in the intervention and control groups. The radiologist and pathologist are blinded. The height and weight of these patients will be measured and the quality of life questionnaire will be filled.Evaluation of aerobic capacity and physical performance, antimullerin hormones, prolactin, TSH, FSH, LH and glucose and fasting insulin, LDH HDL, TG and ultrasound to check the volume of the ovary and the number of follicles will be done in Imam Reza clinic. Exercise in water For 12 weeks, both groups will be subjected to physical evaluation, aerobic capacity, quality of life Questionnaires, ultrasound and blood tests.

Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria

1. Having at least 2 of the 3 Rotterdam criteria 2.with subclinical hypothyroidism 3. BMI<23 4.Not an athlete 5. Age range from 18 to 30 years

Intervention groups

Water training for 12 weeks will include 20 minutes of walking in water forward, backward, sideways and soft running in the shallow part of the pool where the water is up to neck level, then plyometric exercises in water will include long jump and height, shooting a soccer ball, throwing a soccer ball, climbing the pool stairs for 10 minutes, repeating each movement 10 times with a 30-second rest between each exercise.
