Determining the critical thinking score and self-efficacy in the clinical practice of undergraduate nursing students
Design
The study is a semi-experimental two-group-two-stage (pre-test and post-test) study, which has a test and control group, randomized, in two stages on 80 undergraduate nursing students. The available method (card method) is used for randomization.
Settings and conduct
This research will be carried out with the participation of nursing students of the 6th semester of the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. In the intervention group, the final assessment of students in the emergency nursing unit in crises is in the form of an escape room (three separate rooms with three different scenarios) with the help of the relevant professors of that unit. A lesson will be designed) that the student in the room must consider the right decision to take action and finally a grade will be considered for each student.
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
.Inclusion criteria:
. 6th semester student who has taken the emergency nursing unit in crises and has the desire to participate in the study
2. Guest or transfer students who have been transferred to the faculty since the beginning of the 6th semester and have taken the emergency nursing unit in crises are also included in the study.
Exit criteria:
1. Students who do not want to participate in the study
2. Failure to complete or incomplete completion of the questionnaire
Intervention groups
In the intervention group: students are evaluated using the escape room method, which is located in three rooms of a different scenario.
In the control group: students are evaluated in the usual way.

80 of the 6th semester undergraduate nursing students who met the conditions to enter the research are randomly assigned (by card method) into two test and control groups, such that the number of 40 cards with number one and 40 cards with Number two will be placed in an envelope in the package. And on the day of random distribution of research units, students will be asked to choose a card. The people who get number one will be placed in the test group. And the people who are assigned number two will be in the control group.

Description
Intervention group: Intervention group: The researcher will consider suitable locations for the implementation of the escape room in the Isfahan Midwifery Nursing School and will make the necessary preparations, then coordinate with the students of the intervention group. After students complete the questionnaires, each block will have 30 minutes to solve the puzzle and enter the next stage. Each block is given two clues every 12 minutes. In this plan, there will be 3 escape rooms (with a total score of 6), and if each room solves the puzzle before the first 15 minutes, they will receive the full score (2 scores) of the room, in addition to the passing of every 4 minutes of the first 15 minutes, 0.5 points from The full score of each room is reduced. After the end of the time of each room, the students will have 15 minutes to rest and go to the next room. This is considered to prevent each group from contacting another group. Each room will have a puzzle-like scenario related to the previous and next room. It includes three modes of resuscitation of patients with tracheostomy, resuscitation of patients with a tracheal tube and resuscitation of patients without an airway. The implementation process was such that a scenario will be presented to the student on the computer that is placed in the classroom, then after the successful resuscitation of the patients, the three digits needed to unlock the lock will be obtained. Running the escape room After planning the game theory and placing all the necessary elements in the classroom, call the groups of students every 45 minutes (30 minutes to play the game) to enter the special room, 15 minutes to move. All equipment and students will be considered in their original position. After students enter each room while each group is in the same classroom, an observer will assess their performance and ensure that the required techniques are performed correctly. , there will be, the supervisor will only give the students two clues (these two clues will be the same for all groups) and, if necessary, indicate that a technique has not been performed correctly and must be repeated before further progress is made. The observer will be the same for all groups because he will be fully familiar with the various processes and the location of objects
