Determining the effect of teaching emotional intelligence components on academic self-efficacy and anxiety of the Osce test
Design
Randomized, unblinded, randomized clinical trial on 20 students. A table of random numbers was used for randomization.
Settings and conduct
The training sessions of the components of emotional intelligence in the number of 10 sessions for 60 minutes are carried out on the eighth semester nursing students of Shirvan Nursing Faculty who are selected using a random number table. In this study, only the data analyst does not know about the groups.
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: having informed written consent to participate in the study؛
Do not have nursing and rehabilitation work experience؛
All incoming students must be entrance in October 2021
Exclusion criteria: Having mental and physical problems؛
Participating in training sessions on the components of human intelligence؛
History of participating in the Osce test
Intervention groups
Completing academic self-efficacy and test anxiety questionnaires in intervention and control groups.

Significant change in academic self-efficacy score and anxiety

Not having chronic mental or physical problems in the last six months that caused him to be hospitalized in medical centers

Using a table of random numbers, each of the participants is given a two-digit number and a starting point is selected in the table with eyes closed, then they move in the direction of the column and numbers smaller than twenty are selected as samples.
