Determining the effectiveness of self-compassion training on symptom severity, anxiety sensitivity, and distress tolerance in women with Dermatillomania and ُTrichotillomania
Design
Due to the semi-experimental nature of the research, the research sample consisted of 30 people with Dermatillomania and Trichotillomania, who were selected through purposive sampling and randomly assigned to two control groups (15 people) and the experimental group (15 people).
Settings and conduct
This research is part of applied research in terms of its purpose and semi-experimental in terms of implementation and data collection method.
The type of pre-test was post-test with Control group.
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Receiving the diagnosis of with Dermatillomania and Trichotillomania on the diagnostic criteria of DSM and through the diagnostic interview conducted by the researcher and the psychiatrist.Farad should practice compassion and gratitude for at least 15 minutes a week. It is necessary to suffer from Dermatillomania and Trichotillomania at least six months as diagnosed by a psychiatrist.
Do not use research outside of educational and therapeutic intervention. Exit criteria:
Not wanting to continue cooperation and not participating in therapy sessions for more than 2 sessions and not suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder

The meaning of compassion means being able to experience and be affected by the suffering of others, in such a way that the person has problems
