Design
Students of Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences at first by sampling method Purposive selection and then using random block method of quadruple type were divided into two groups of cognitive-behavioral therapy and therapy focused on compassion, each group of 19 people. Unblinded method. SPSS version 25 software was used for data analysis.
Settings and conduct
The treatment was done at Farabi Hospital University and Clinic. The group that received cognitive-behavioral therapy received 8 sessions of group cognitive-behavioral therapy. The compassion-focused therapy group also received 8 sessions of group compassion-focused therapy.
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Having a score greater than or equal to 37 on the high-level criteria subscale and a score of 45 or greater on the.
Not having a severe personality disorder.
No drug addiction.
Failure to complete the questionnaires.
Intervention groups
Compassion-focused therapy is a multimodal therapy based on a range of cognitive-Behavioral and other therapies are established.

Inclusion criteria:
Having a score higher than or equal to 37 in the high-level criteria subscale and a score of 45 or higher in the dissonance subscale in the almost complete revised scale of Slaney et al.
Not having a severe personality disorder such as borderline personality disorder, narcissistic personality disorder, antisocial personality disorder, dramatic personality disorder, and obsessive personality disorder.
Not receiving drug therapy or psychotherapy at the same time
No drug addiction
